I haven't had to take it alone, though. Brent's been wonderful and I happen to live in a therapeutic, springtime heaven. My garden, which delights me as soap making, is what's kept me from locking myself in a closet. Olivia has helped me plant a respectable vegetable garden, and my flower garden has finally filled in and is blooming like crazy! We are a little tan and constantly dirty, but healthy and glowing from the exercise. And with the rising popularity of my lavender, hyacinth, and fresh cut grass-scented soaps, I think a lot of people have been as eager for spring as me.
Enjoying my garden so much this year has made me consider all the wonderful benefits of growing a garden. Hauling topsoil, raking, spreading mulch all create a pretty hard core workout, helping me drop those winter pounds and filling my lungs with fresh air. The sunshine replenishes those depleted vitamins from dark winter months.
So take my advice...go outside and enjoy this beautiful weather! You don't know what great things might come of it ;-)
